    Speak up for a child, become a CASA volunteer.  Training begins November 4th at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church from 6-9 PM.  There is an application process and a background check for all volunteers.  Interested parties should contact the CASA office:  222-4904.  Also check out the volunteer tab on our website:  http://casajd6.org.

    Thank you to the Community Closet for providing grant money to print the Training Manuals.

    The 2008 winners of the Bugle for Kids raffle are:  Brian Engle of Big Timber and Victor Robbins of Livingston. 

    Their hunting stories will be featured here next week.

    Thank you to everyone who purchased a Bugle For Kids ticket.  There were 111 tickets sold.  We also would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to all the employees of The Fort in Big Timber and to Yellowstone Gateway Sports and Stong & Bradley in Livingston for selling the Bugle tickets.

    Each winning Bugle For Kids ticket allows for an adult and minor to hunt on either the Twelve Springs Ranch or the West Boulder Ranch on the weekend of October 31-November 2, 2008.  The hunters will be accompanied by the ranch managers.  The adult winner will have the opportunity to hunt a cow elk and the youth will be able to hunt a bull elk.  In total there are four winners from two tickets.

    Each hunter must have a valid 2008 State of Montana hunting license.

    Tickets are available at: the CASA office in Livingston (222-4904), Yellowstone Gateway Sports in Livingston, and The Fort in Big Timber.

    There’s only one week left before the drawing of TWO winners in the Bugle For Kids raffle.  Get your tickets now and support the Sixth Judicial CASA/ GAL Program.  For every $25 ticket, the Program receives an additional $50 from the sponsors:  the Brokaw Family, Dollens Family and Ware Family.  So you not only get the chance to hunt on beautiful private ranches, you support the children of Park and Sweet Grass counties.

    It’s time to get your tickets for the 3rd Annual Bugle for Kids!  Sponsored by the Brokaw Family of the West Boulder Ranch and the Dollens and Ware Families of the Twelve Springs Ranch, an elk hunt on each ranch is the prize for two lucky winners.  Tickets are $25  each and are available at The Fort in Big Timber and Yellowstone Gateway Sports in Livingston.  Information is also available by calling the CASA office 222-4904.  Participants must be Park or Sweet Grass County residents.  The drawing will take place October 22, 2008 at The Fort.  The hunt will take place the weekend of Oct 31- Nov 2.  More information will be posted here.
