Mary Ellen Cremer - Board Chairman

Big Timber, MT

Mary Ellen Cremer, a Montana native, has lived most of her life in the state. She earned graduate degrees in Economics and Business Administration and worked for a few years at Deloitte and Touche in Seattle before returning to Montana to reside south of Big Timber on the little ranch where she raised her family.





Donald B. Gimbel - Board Treasurer

Livingston, MT

Don Gimbel moved to Livingston, on a full time basis, from Greenwich Connecticut in June of 2007. Don graduated from Georgetown University. Upon graduation Don started his life long career in investment services with Merrill Lynch. He is currently Senior Managing Director for Carret Asset Management in New York. While living in Greenwich, Don served on the Greenwich Day Care board and currently he sits on the board for Kids in Crisis. Don is also a member of the Economic Club of New York and is a Financial Commentator for Bloomberg Television and Radio. In his spare time, Don enjoys his 4 new grandchildren and his new home in Paradise Valley, Montana.



Robert Fleming - Board Secretary

Livingston, MT

 

Robert James Fleming is a third generation Montanan. Besides being both born and raised in Park County, Bob has spent most of his adult life here. He and his wife Glenda have 3 grown children. With almost 12 years of law enforcement experience, Bob brings to the board a strong background in Criminology, Drug and Alcohol Programs, and Child Welfare. Now working on a ranch Bob’s free time is spent outside with grandkids and shop projects.



Sharon Sweeney Fee - Board Advisor

Nurse Informaticist
Livingston, MT

Dr. Sweeney Fee is a Research Scientist, working on the Knowledge-Based Nursing Initiative (KBNI), with Aurora HealthCare in Milwaukee, WI. The KBNI is a project that will develop new knowledge, evaluate nurses’ workflow, embed best evidence into nurses’ workflow, and evaluate nursing process and patient outcomes in an electronic environment. Sharon has a PhD in Nursing from the University of Arizona with a focus on Health Systems and Vulnerable Populations. Prior to joining Aurora, she worked for two years as a nursing informatics specialist, implementing an electronic health record within a rural health system in Livingston, Montana. She also has experience as an Assistant Professor with Montana State University, teaching junior and senior level clinical and health policy courses and graduate courses in research using web-based and videoconferencing technologies. She has experience on a number of projects that included calculation of return on investment, cost analysis, and system wide evaluation of outcomes at the individual, unit and system level from both the private and federal arena. Sharon is serving her second term as an appointed member of the board for the ANA Committee on Ethics and Human Protections.



Troy Redmon - Board Advisor

Troy was born in Louisiana, Missouri and raised in Livingston, Montana. His education was at the United States Military Academy (B.S. in Engineering & Political Science, 1987) and University of Montana (J.D., MBA, 2000). Troy was admitted to the Montana bar in 2000. Troy's practice areas include real estate transactions and litigation; water law; employment law; and business and corporate law.



Gail McCormick

Livingston, MT

 

Gail was born and raised in Livingston, a third generation of the Ommundsen family. She completed her B.S. in English with a Communication Emphasis at Montana State University. After she graduated, she moved to Phoenix, Arizona where she resided for over 20 years. She moved back to Livingston at the end of 1998 to help care for her aging parents. Gail is a partner in Hallett Minerals Company located in Livingston, and has worked as President and Office Administrator for eight years. She has two grown sons, both of whom are veterinarians, and she is thoroughly enjoying her two young grandchildren, who reside here, as well. Gail is a CASA/GAL volunteer, committed to advocating for abused and neglected children.



Lisa Phelan

Livingston, MT

 

Lisa is a fourth generation Montanan. She has lived and worked most of her life in Park County. She works, with her husband Norris, as a Farm Bureau Insurance Agent. They have three grown children, and are expecting their first grandchild. Most of her time includes family, friends, dogs and the outdoors. She has ample volunteer experience with church programs, elder care, coaching, teaching and child mentoring. Lisa has refined the art of fundraising, and looks forward to putting those ideas to work for the CASA program. She is excited about being a part of this successful program, as she believes children should be heard and represented through the advocates.



Joseph Hansen

Big Timber, MT

 

Joseph is a longtime Sweet Grass County resident. Joe has spent most of his adult life as a volunteer EMT and devoting his efforts to caring for ill and injured people of all ages. As a family advocate he has worked with other volunteers, medical providers and the State Department of Health to improve care and to instill principles of patient and family centered care in pre-hospital and hospital phases of care. Since 1976 Joe has created improvement in curriculum development, from his experiences in conducting and instructing many Emergency Medical Service Education Programs. When He is not advocating for these causes he works as a rancher.



Lori Goodman

Livingston, MT

 

Lori moved to Livingston in 2005. She is a Montana native and graduated from Montana State University with her nursing degree and a Masters in Healthcare Administration. Lori has lived in many different cities during her nursing career including New York, Seattle, Chicago, Helena and Billings and now enjoys her home in Livingston. She currently works for Livingston Healthcare in the role of risk management coordinator, patient safety and occasionally spends time in the Operating Room. Spare time is spent with family and friends enjoying the wonderful adventures that Montana life has to offer.
